American Red Cross Classes

This 4 day course teaches all the skills for Waterfront Lifeguarding. Students must successfully complete the course prerequisites in order to participate. After successful completion of the course participants will be certified in Waterfront Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for lifeguards, and first aid.

Course Prerequisites:
Must be age 15 by the last day of class.
550 yard swim of front crawl, and breaststroke
20 yard swim, a surface dive to a depth of 10 feet, and retrieval of a 10 pound brick in less than 1 minute 40 seconds.
15 yard underwater swim of retrieval of dive rings.
Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs.

All classes run Monday – Thursday 8AM-6:00PM
Dress comfortably, bring bething suit and towels. Pack a lunch and water.  If you would like, bring snacks for breaks.

Rates: $275 for Members; $330 for non-members.

A $75.00 non refundable Deposit will hold your registration, balance due on the first day of class.
