Parent Child Swim Lessons    

Ages 6 months – 5 years old    (An adult must accompany child in the water)

M1-2 Parents accompany children in this stage, which introduces infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment through exploration and encourages them to enjoy themselves while learning.

 

Preschool Swim Lessons

Ages 3-5 years old      

 

P1-2 Students develop comfort with underwater exploration and learn to safely exit in the event of falling into a body of water. This stage lays the foundation that allows for a student’s future progress in swimming .
P3 In stage 3, students focus on body position and control, directional change, and forward movement in the water while also continuing to practice how to safely exit in the event of falling into a body of water. Children must be able to submerge their head under water.

 

Youth Swim Lessons

Ages 6-13 years old

Y1

 

Students develop comfort with underwater exploration and learn to safely exit in the event of falling into a body of water. This stage lays the foundation that allows for a student’s future progress in swimming.
Y2 Students focus on body position and control, directional change, and forward movement in the water while also continuing to practice how to safely exit in the event of falling into a body of water.
Y3 Students learn how to swim to safety from a longer distance than in previous stages in the event of falling into a body of water. This stage also introduces rhythmic breathing and integrated arm and leg action. Children must be able to submerge their head under water.
Y4 Students develop stroke technique in front crawl and back crawl and learn the breaststroke kick and butterfly kick. Water safety is reinforced through treading water and elementary backstroke.
Y5-6 Students work on stroke technique and learn all major competitive strokes. The emphasis on water safety continues through treading water and sidestroke.

 

 

Adult Swim Lessons

Ages 14 and older

Beginner For those who are new to swimming or who are fearful in the water.
Advanced For those with basic skill and can swim one length of the pool front crawl and back crawl. This class focuses on technique.

 

Adaptive Swim Lessons

Adaptive Swim Lessons

This program is designed for children ages 5-15 who have social, physical, or neurological challenges. They will focus on increasing comfort in the water as well as reinforce water safety. The students will learn basic stroke technique and how to swim longer distances. They will also learn self-rescue skills. Classes are 30 minutes long for 6 weeks. Private Swim Lessons

Private Swim Lessons   

Private swim lessons are available for children age 4 and older, as well as adults. Lessons are 30 minutes, once a week, and run on the same session schedule as group lessons. Private lessons do not carry over into the next session automatically.  You are responsible for signing up each session.

Cancellation Policy:
• At least 12 hours notice MUST be given to the instructor if you cannot attend.
• The instructor will not wait more than 15 minutes past the agreed start time.
• The class will run to the scheduled 30 minute stop time regardless of the time started, unless the late start is due to the instructor.
• If at least 12 hours notice was not given to the instructor, you will still be charged for the lesson to compensate the instructor.
