SCAMPER CAMP (Age 5 & Entering Kindergarten)
Rising K campers are placed in a co-ed Scamper group. This group is limited to 20 campers to provide smaller staff: camper activities. Scampers must be age 5 by their 1st day registered for camp to be eligible to attend.
One Week Sessions
Weeks 1 – 10

PEE WEE, PATHFINDER, & POAGTOWN CAMP (Ages 6 - 11)
Campers ages 6-11 are grouped by age into co-ed groups. These campers will be assigned to a village for the summer. Campers swim every day and will rotate through all the specialty areas during the week, including archery, art & crafts, ropes and boating. Special events, weekly camp-wide activities, and special guests create diverse experiences within the general camp routine.

PIONEER CAMP (Ages 12-14)
Campers enrolled in Pioneer Camp will have programming that respects their age, challenges them to be role models for younger campers and leaders among their peers. Pioneers are given additional privileges at camp and more choices than younger campers. Staff assignments are more consistent in Pioneer Camp as well.

LEADER-IN-TRAINING (Age 15)
Our four-week Leader-in-Training program includes leadership development, hands-on experience and an off-site adventure experience for campers age 15. LITs will learn vital leadership skills as a role model for younger campers. They will have a summer of small-group instruction on leadership and community engagement in addition to the Camp Massapoag activities they know and love. LITs must be age 15 on or before their first registered day of camp. They will be asked to complete an LIT form as part of their registration.

COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING (Age 16)
16-year-olds who are interested in working at YMCA Camp Massapoag as counselors are invited to apply to be a Counselor in Training. Volunteer CITs will work with staff to learn the ins-and-outs of working at camp, gain vital leadership experience and have a great summer in the process! CIT’s must submit an application that will be followed by an in person interview.
